To our community at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) and beyond,
As rapidly evolving events unfold across the Middle East, we extend our deepest empathy to all of those affected. We recognize that many members of RSI may be affected - whether directly, through personal or familial connections, or indirectly, through emotional, social, and academic engagement.
We also acknowledge that it can be especially challenging to focus on your work, studies, and day‑to‑day responsibilities during times of such profound difficulty. We admire your resilience and want to reaffirm that you are not alone.
In moments like these, it is important to be patient with one another, recognizing that we may not know how individuals are being impacted by current events, and to center empathy and denounce all forms of hatred and discrimination.
